Shia LaBeouf established himself as a well-known actor, which has been the case since he was a child Disney star. Olivia Wilde previously stated that she fired Shia from the film, ‘Don’t Worry Darling.’ However, he recently came forth to explain and clarify that he departed on his own.

Olivia Wilde’s video plea to Shia LaBeouf, asking him not to leave her new film, Don’t Worry Darling, leaked. The video’s release comes only hours after LaBeouf denied being fired from the film. It seems like this was a leak that came very close to LeBeouf’s camp, because the video message was directed toward the Even Stevens star.

Wilde previously stated in an interview that she fired LaBeouf in 2020 to create a “safe, trusting environment” on set and that his acting process “was not conducive to the ethos” that she requires in her productions.

LaBeouf refuted this, claiming that he departed on his own accord because he “couldn’t find time to rehearse” with the other actors. The footage, which LaBeouf allegedly gave to Variety to back up his claims, was sent several days after he left Wilde’s film in August 2020. In that leaked footage, Wilde can be heard saying: “I feel like I’m not ready to give up on this yet, and I too am heartbroken and I want to figure this out.”

Wilde also appeared to be referring to tensions between LaBeouf and co-star Florence Pugh.

“I think this might be a bit of a wake-up call for Miss Flo. If she really commits, if she really puts her mind and heart into it at this point and if you guys can make peace – and I respect your point of view, I respect hers – but if you guys can do it, what do you think? Is there hope?”

LaBeouf was set to play Jack, the romantic partner of Pugh’s character Alice, in the upcoming psychological thriller. However, he was ultimately replaced by Harry Styles. This is only the latest in a string of spectacular events surrounding the film since it began production two years ago.

Wilde, who is presently dating Styles, was presented with custody papers by her ex-partner, Jason Sudeikis, during a presentation for the film at CinemaCon, a major entertainment industry event, in April. Let’s see what more is in store. To get the latest updates, keep an eye on Thirsty.
