James Franco Ordered To Testify In Johnny Depp & Amber Heard Lawsuit Trial

The ongoing legal battle between Johnny Depp and ex-wife Amber Heard continues to get messier by the moment. After Johnny Depp lost an appeal in the domestic violence lawsuit, Amber Heard made sure to celebrate that fact while taking a shot at Depp.

Many fans were elated when it was reported that Amber Heard was fired from her role as Mera in Aquaman 2. However, Heard would prove everyone wrong after hinting that she will be reprising her role as Mera in Aquaman 2.

In fact, fans even recently petitioned hard to have Amber Heard removed from the upcoming film, but to no avail. Warner Bros would fire Depp from his role of Gellert Grindelwald in Fantastic Beasts 3 due to the domestic violence lawsuit.

Depp also moved forward with a huge $50 million defamation suit against Amber Heard. According to Page Six, James Franco has been served a subpoena by Depp’s lawyers requesting him to testify in Depp’s defamation lawsuit against his ex-wife Heard.

This is because of footage of Franco stepping into an elevator with Heard shortly after a fight with Depp was seen, where she alleged he gave her a black eye. Franco will be asked numerous questions about the allegations of abuse.
