Katie Maloney Serves Divorce Papers To Tom Schwartz At Their Valley Village Home

Katie Maloney and Tom Schwartz started dating two years before Bravo’s reality show Vanderpump Rules premiered in 2013, and they married in August 2016. Following speculations that the couple had called it quits, Maloney filed for divorce on March 22, 2022. Katie Maloney was recently reported to have served Tom Schwartz with divorce papers at their Valley Village home.

According to Radar Online, Vanderpump Rules star Katie Maloney served divorce papers to her estranged spouse Tom Schwartz, indicating that she is eager to move on as quickly as possible. In a fresh filing, the Bravo actress is said to have informed the court of the new development. She claimed that a paralegal mailed copies of her dissolution petition to Tom at their $2 million Valley Village house, where they both currently reside.

Katie, who is defending herself in the case, had the service finished on March 25th, according to the paperwork. The former couple appears to be on the same page when it comes to fast resolving their divorce. Tom has already acknowledged that he has been served by signing the form. In the next weeks, the TomTom bar owner will file a response to the divorce.

Katie filed for divorce in Los Angeles Superior Court last month, as previously revealed. Katie demanded that neither party pay spousal support, and the couple announced their separation two days before Valentine’s Day. The separation date was set for February 12, 2022. They had been together for more than a decade.

Katie and Tom both shared the news with their fans on Instagram at the same time.

“I’m not quite ready to use the “D” word bc [sic] it’s too painful.”

“Yes, my heart aches but I’ll be ok. Not looking to evoke any sympathy here. I’m not the victim. Not going to write too sad a song. Fully respect Katie’s decision and we’ve had healthy, productive conversations about it. It would be far sadder if she decided to stay with me whilst not happy.”

Katie and Tom both recently attended an event for Lisa Vanderpump. They indicated that they intend to sell the home they purchased in 2019. “We’ve actually been helping each other find places,” she said “I’ll be like, ‘I think this place would be really good for you. I think you’ll really like it. You should go check it out.'”
