Andrew Garfield has been very busy for the last year with his acting. Not to mention he has worked in several super hit movies in the past decade. All these years he has worked non-stop and is now ready to take a break.

The “Amazing Spider-Man” actor spoke with Variety and shared that he will be taking time off from Hollywood for a “bit”. He expressed that he wants to be just an “ordinary” person for a while.

“I’m going to rest for a little bit,” Garfield said. “I need to recalibrate and reconsider what I want to do next and who I want to be and just be a bit of a person for awhile. Because as you know, that is a washing machine, that awards season. I need to just be a bit ordinary for a while.”

Just in the past couple of years, Garfield has appeared in “The Eyes of Tammy Faye” and “Tick, Tick … Boom!” Now, he can be seen in the Hulu series “Under the Banner of Heaven.” After this drama series, he is going into temporary retirement.

Garfield has several accolades under his belt including two Academy Awards. His work in Spiderman movies is touted as classic my many. He has earned his break from all the hard work he has done so far.
