Snoop Dogg and 50 Cent are developing an upcoming drama series called ‘Murder Was The Case’. It is a part of Starz’ Hip-Hop Anthology series.
Starz and 50 Cent are teaming up, once again, for a new scripted series. Anticipations are super high as 50 Cent is making sure to keep the hype bar up with his posts. Fifty claimed in his Instagram post that this is going to be bigger than the OJ Simpson story. His super hyped Instagram caption read:
“This is going to be Bigger than OJ, 👀I mean @snoopdogg Bigger than Tropicana. I believe This will break all viewership records at STARZ 🚀GLG🚦GreenLightGang 💣BOOM thought i was 🧢#bransoncognac #lecheminduroi🤨get”
A few weeks earlier, 50 Cent had teased that he and Snoop Dogg had something in the works. That was enough to raise excitement from the fans. Now that 50 Cent has revealed that a ‘Murder Was The Case’ series is currently in development, fans must be going bananas over it.
The story is based on Snoop Dogg’s 1993 murder case. The show is currently looking for a writer. It will reportedly focus on the trial where Snoop was accused of killing Phillip Woldermariam, who was a rival gang member. Take a look at the Instagram post below.
