Eminem has been creating a buzz since it was announced that he would play White Boy Rick in “BMF” television series. BMF is about around a Black Mafia Family – specifically two Detroit brothers. Obviously 50 Cent wanted the most famous person from Detroit to be a part of it.

White Boy Rick, otherwise known as Richard Wershe Jr., went from a street criminal selling illegal guns to the youngest FBI informant ever. It wasn’t easy to make Eminem play the part, 50 Cent suggests. Especially when it came to making the rapper look younger for the role. For which top notch CGI was used.

Fif is not only producer but also director of the episode Eminem made his debut in. Episode 7 premiered on November 14 on Starz. The director mentions, it was the most interesting and exciting of them all. “I had the cheat code because I got to read and see all the episodes, and I picked episode 7 because it just had everything, and I knew it would be an exciting one to direct.”

Eminem was happy to on board, when he found out 50 Cent was directing he gave his 100% to it. “When Eminem found out I was directing, he committed to do it, and working together was natural. It was an honor to have him on the show and it made this episode extra special

Having the Detroit native on set was a dream come true for the crew. 50 cent and Eminem go way back, the producer didn’t have to try too hard to hard to convince his friend. Fif mentioned that working with Marshall was an honor and the craft came naturally to both. 50 cent is currently working on another crime show. We cant wait.
