John Cena has chosen to go down the path of Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson, as his acting resume seems to be sizing up a lot. His roles in both F9 & The Suicide Squad were very well received, but that’s not where his recent success ends.

The WWE Superstar’s Hulu original film Vacation Friendsmight have gone unnoticed to most, but it’s the new favorite for Hulu subscribers. Cena took to Twitter in order to announce that it’s become the most watched original film on Hulu.

An unbelievable response to an unbelievably fun movie! This weekend  #VacationFriends became the most-watched original film on @Hulu ever!!!  @VacationFriends.

Deadline reported that a sequel to the movie, named ‘Honeymoon Friends‘ is also in early stages of development. Cena stars alongside Yvonne Orji, Meredith Hagner, Lil Rel Howery, Lynn Whitfield, Robert Wisdom, and Tawny Newsome. The movie is helmed by Clay Tarver, while the screenplay comes from the duo of Tom Mullen and Tim Mullen.

John Cena is known as one of the most supportive WWE superstars, and Big E recently added to that. Cena even talked about WWE & stand-up comedy are similar. Even Charlotte Flair said she wants to be a female version of him. He also might’ve secured a role in Fantastic Four as The Thing, but nothing’s confirmed yet.
