Drake has been teasing his forthcoming album Certified Lover Boy since 2020 now, but the fans who have been eagerly waiting for months haven’t really lived on much but updates regarding the album here and there.

It seems that the most important update of the album has just arrived, and fans’ anticipation of the album is at an all-time high. Drake himself recently appeared on Sound 42‘s Fri Yiy Friday show where he provided an important update on his upcoming album to his fans.

You know, Uncle Drake is back home to mix the album so she’s got a bunch of new tracks coming her way. On my way home to reunite with my dawg and finish this thing up… CLB on the way. On your head top.

While the album being mixed at this point means that it’s real close to dropping soon. The question is, when is it going to release? While UFC President Dana White revealed that Certified Lover Boy’s drop is going to take place in Las Vegas.

Coincidently, Drake himself told the hosts OVO Mark & OVO Noel that he will be heading back to Las Vegas to “try my luck one last time.” While it might close to dropping, it’s for sure that we might see a single soon.

It’s not as though Drake has not dropped anything between the album’s announcement and now. In fact, Drake dominated the Billboard Top 100 as the three tracks from his Scary Hours 2 EP took the top three spots on the charts and Drizzy himself broke many records.
