Conor McGregor is never one to back away from a confrontation, in fact, he’s quite good at starting the fuss all by himself. He recently had a backstage argument with Rafael dos Anjos backstage at the UFC 264 press conference, and it was captured on video.

Rafael dos Anjos is the backup for the Conor McGregor vs Dustin Poirier fight at Saturday’s UFC 264 event. All three fighters weighed in on Friday and then Notorious and Refael dos Anjos had an altercation backstage.

As first reported by The Schmo, “Hearing that shortly after Conor McGregor and RDA weighed in, they got into a heated exchange backstage. The two were supposed to fight back at UFC 196. RDA weighed in as a backup fighter today.”

The UFC 264 Embedded: Vlog Series provided fans with a glimpse behind the scenes at this situation. McGregor is still not happy that he didn’t get a title shot against Rafael dos Anjos when he pulled out of UFC 196. There seems to be unfinished business between the two.

McGregor made reference to a “soft f*cking toe” while firing a verbal jab at Rafael do Anjos, and that was likely a reference to the broken foot that cause dos Anjos to withdrawn from that UFC 196 title fight. We’ll have to see if they finally get their hands on each other, but the heat is still there between them.
