Kanye West has been in the news recently for all the wrong reasons. Recently, he made several anti-Semitic remarks towards the Jewish community. His comments clearly haven’t gone down well with a lot of people who are hurt by the rapper’s comments.

Recently, Ye sat down with an interview with Piers Morgan. During the interview, Piers Morgan asked Kanye West if he was “sorry” that he said he wanted to go “DEFCON 3 on Jewish people.” Kanye West replies by saying he doesn’t regret his recent string of comments.

“No. Absolutely not,” he replied with a smile, to which Morgan suggested he should be. “That is as racist as anything you say you’ve been through, and any pain you’ve experienced, it’s the same thing,” said Morgan, to which Ye responded, “Yeah, obviously, that’s why I said it.” Morgan asked, “So you said it knowing it’s racist?”

“Yes,” said Ye. “I fought fire with fire. I’m not here to get hosed down, it’s a different type of freedom fighter.”

Ye then apologized to the people that were hurt by his comments. He also remarked that he hurt people because he himself was hurt. We’ll have to see how this turns out in the end, because the story of Kanye West is far from over.

What do you make of Kanye West feeling no regret regarding his comments towards the Jewish community? Sound off in the comments section.
