Chris Hemsworth Looks Unrecognizable With Prosthetic Nose Filming ‘Mad Max’ Prequel

Chris Hemsworth gained fame for his role of Thor, the God of Thunder, in the Marvel cinematic universe. He is now all set to feature in Furiosa, the prequel story to Charlize Theron’s character from George Miller’s Mad Mac: Fury Road. Though it’s yet unknown what role he’ll play but his new appearance makes him absolutely impossible to recognize.

The actor strolled across the post-apocalyptic set while sporting a prosthetic nose, a dirty black and yellow jacket, jeans, and boots. He also wore a lengthy, greasy wig and a fake, greying beard.

The Thor: Love and Thunder actor could be seen in one image hopping into the driver’s seat of a massive tank-like vehicle as he got ready for a scene. Chris was seen surrounded by an excited crowd of extras.

Furiosa is a prequel to the 2015 film Mad Max: Fury Road, with actress Anya Taylor-Joy playing the title role. Fans are excited to see that filming has resumed after it was suspended earlier this month after director George Miller got Covid-19.

Just before the shutdown, Chris and Anya were spotted together for the first time on set. Filming at various places throughout New South Wales, the production of Furiosa began in Broken Hill in April. Stay tuned to Thirsty for more updates.
