Ten people were killed and several others were left injured when a white supremacist went on a shooting rampage in Buffalo, New York. The incident resulted in the arrest of 18-year-old Payton Gendron. Gendron left behind a manifesto which noted that his motivations were based on his extremist beliefs.

Payton Gendron, the shooter who massacred ten people at a Buffalo supermarket, had visited the business two months before the massacre. According to various sources, Gendron appeared at the Tops Market in March. A white employee reported an encounter with the mass shooter, who allegedly made racial remarks about working in a predominately Black neighborhood to the woman.

On Saturday, Gendron, an 18-year-old Caucasian guy, opened fire at Buffalo’s Tops Market in a mass shooting. He fired 13 shots, killing ten of them. 11 of the victims were African-American. The gunman lived in Conklin, New York, some 200 miles from Buffalo.

In a manifesto posted before the attack, Gendron mentioned the “Great Replacement Theory,” a racist conspiracy. Griselda’s family members all spoke out about the shooting in their hometown of Buffalo. On Twitter, Benny The Butcher expressed his surprise.
