A mass shooting in Buffalo has left several dead, and the incident is currently being investigated. The entire thing was live-streamed by the preparator.

According to CNN, 18-year-old Payton Gendron gunned down at least 10 people at Tops supermarket in Buffalo on Saturday afternoon. The attack appeared to be carried out by a semi-automatic weapon.

The law enforcement agents told the outlet that the incident was racially motivated mass murder and it is being investigated as a hate crime. Most of the victims in this attack were reported to be Black.

Officials said the suspect drove hours to especially target a predominantly Black area. Prior to the shooting, Gendron posted a manifesto on the internet declaring himself a white supremacist. Officials believe the suspect is from Conklin, NY, about 200 miles away from the place of the incident.

The entire incident was live streamed on popular streaming platform Twitch. Though the platform quickly took it down, the clips from the incident rapidly circulated on social media platforms.

In one of the clips you can hear and see the suspect driving his car while wearing a tactical gear and say something along the lines of “you just gotta go for it.” After arriving the the supermarket, the suspect parked his car and started shooting at the entrance.

The authorities arrived at the scene and took the suspect into custody. The area was buzzing with police activity after the reports of a mass shooting. So far 10 have been confirmed dead and an additional 3 are injured. Our thoughts and prayers are with the families of the victims.
