Young Thug was arrested in Atlanta on Monday due to two gang-related charges. However, the trouble for the Atlanta rap star didn’t end there. He is now reportedly facing additional charges.

As noted earlier, Thugger was initially charged with conspiracy to violate the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act (RICO) and participation in criminal street gang activity. The charges kept piling up against him even after the arrest. His entire YSL crew is implicated.

According to Pitchfork, the rapper is now facing seven additional felony charges arising from authorities raiding his home in Buckhead, Georgia. Thugger has remained in custody since his arrest and now the case against him has grown even stronger.

The additional charges Thugger is facing include possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, possession of a sawed-off-shotgun, sawed-off rifle, machine gun, dangerous weapon or silencer, and three charges of unlawful participation in criminal gang activity while employed by/associated with a criminal street gang.

Not to mention that, but the prosecutors are also using many of Young Thug’s lyrics against him to prove guilt. Despite everything Thugger is involved in, the rapper’s father has vowed to fight for him till the end.

This arrest has put a full stop to Young Thug’s music career and he cannot do much about it behind the bars. Taking the severity of the case into consideration this legal trouble for Thugger will probably go on for a long while. Keep checking back with Thirsty for more!
