Update: Gunna has now surrendered himself to authorities.

Original: The explosive news about the arrests of Young Thug and 28 of their alleged associates has shocked hip-hop. Unlike Young Thug, Gunna was not arrested following the gang-related indictment. It appears, authorities are working together to for the rapper’s voluntary surrender.

Radar Online reported that the Fulton County Sheriff Pat Labat shared that the 28-year-old rapper, whose real name is Sergio Giavanni Kitchens, was not in police lockup as of Tuesday afternoon. During a press conference, Sheriff Labat stated, “He is not in custody.”

Labat then assured the media that he had been in contact with Gunna’s team and they were working out a strategy for his surrender. He continued, “We’re making arrangements, he had representatives call me last night directly so we’ll muddle through that piece and let you know.”
