Gunna was charged in gang-related indictments which saw Young Thug and 26-other alleged YSL associates arrested. However, Gunna was not immediately taken into police custody as authorities worked for his surrender. Now it seems, the rapper reportedly turned himself in to authorities.

According to a report from local Atlanta news outlet CBS46, Gunna was arrested late yesterday. He was charged of Conspiracy to Violate the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act. This comes a day after Young Thug was arrested on charges of Conspiracy to Violate the RICO Act and Participation in Criminal Street Gang Activity.

On May 10th, Thug appeared in court for the first time since his arrest. It remains unknown at this time whether or not he will be allowed bail. After his arrest, a video showing him being taken into police custody quickly went viral.

Fani Willis, the Fulton County District Attorney, held a press conference yesterday as well. She addressed the large-scale operation against YSL and claimed her main focus is going after street gangs while saying they contribute “conservatively 75 to 80% of all of the violent crime” in the communities at hand.
