Taylor Hawkins, the Foo Fighters’ award-winning drummer, died while the band was on tour in Columbia. The music industry as a whole is in mourning over a tragic loss. Hawkins’ five-star hotel room in Bogota was recently discovered to contain a lethal drug cocktail.

According to Radar Online, white powder and other hallucinogens were discovered inside the hotel room where Foo Fighters drummer Taylor Hawkins was discovered lifeless, according to the investigators looking into his death. Hawkins’ body was discovered hours before the band was scheduled to perform in Colombia, as previously reported.

A police officer who entered Hawkins’ room earlier today told prosecutors he saw a ‘cocaine-like’ white powder at the scene of Hawkins’ death, according to Colombian journalist Luis Carlos Velez.

“In the room, Colombian authorities found an empty beer can, an opened bottle of vodka, a Coca-Cola bottle and some other articles which are being analyzed by authorities.”
