Lil Durk has been quite busy with new projects. In addition to his music, the rapper has caused quite a stir because of his feud with NBA YoungBoy. Now, Lil Durk has achieved yet another impressive landmark.

The Chicago drill rapper might just become the next big thing in hip-hop. It looks like that’s exactly what he sought to do with 7220. Lil Durk released his new solo album, 7220, on March 11th. Sales have already reached impressive numbers almost replacing Encanto’s 8-week run top at the album chart.

According to Chart Data, Durk will sell 120,000 units in the album’s first week. Anything over 120K should be commended. There was a time in his career when these numbers were unfathomable, but now, he is getting the recognition he deserves.

Lil Durk is proving to be one of the best in game. Druk’s relatively newfound superstardom continues to rise. Durk improves his first-week sales numbers with each new project. With current projections, The Chicago rapper will hit the mainstream scene in no time.

DJ Khaled is getting ready to release what he calls his “largest album” yet and Lil Durk is going to be on it. DJ Khaled has recently hinted at the 2022 collaboration with Lil Durk, Gunna, and Rod Wave. He’s already been in the studio with a slew of superstars, including Kanye West, Drake, and Jeezy, earlier this year.
