Russia engaged in military conflict with the Ukraine and the world is taking notice. This time Lady Gaga has chosen a side. The House of Gucci actress made it clear that she stands by Ukraine.

Lady Gaga was one of many stars who showed their support for Ukraine in wake of Russia’s attacks on its neighboring country at the SAG awards 2022. Gaga included a show of support in light of Russia’s attacks when she was speaking about how thankful she was to be at the awards show. Gaga is certainly not afraid to speak about what is important.

“This is a beautiful night where we all get to celebrate art together and celebrate each other, and there’s so much going on in the world, and my heart really goes out to Ukraine, and I think tonight, we should all really sit in the gratitude of this,” said Gaga.

Michael Douglas was another star who spoke out during a red carpet interview, as he showed off a blue-and-yellow pocket square to stand with the people of Ukraine. Some stars like Jessica Chastain also spoke out from the awards show stage with messages of support.


Meanwhile, This situation between Russia and the Ukraine sparked a ton of controversy. The Weeknd also got heat for tweeting out to hype his own project during a time like this. Sean Penn is also in the war-torn country filming a documentary.
