John Cena Slammed For Peacemaker Tweet Amid Russian Invasion Of Ukraine

Russia engaged in a military conflict with Ukraine and the world is taking notice. John Cena also stars in The Peacemaker, an HBO Max show that just got picked up for a second season. This timing was rather unfortunate, but Cena’s intention was probably coming from the right place.

This situation between Russia and the Ukraine sparked a ton of controversy. The Weeknd also got heat for tweeting out to hype his own project during a time like this. Sean Penn is also in the war-torn country filming a documentary.

John Cena simply tweeted out to summon powers like a “real like Peacemaker,” all the while including a hashtag to spark extra engagement. This tweet got plenty of engagement enough as it is.

If I could somehow summon the powers of a real life #Peacemaker I think this would be a great time to do so.
