LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers are watching their season crumble before their eyes. The latest crushing defeat for the team came at the hands of the New Orleans Pelicans. New Orleans beat the Lakers at home by a lopsided score of 123-95 on Sunday night.

King James has had plenty to say about the team’s failures over the course of the season. At one time he noted that the team was playing with no chemistry. The Lakers are 27-33 and would miss the playoffs if they started today. The time for analyzing the Lakers’ bad fortune could be in the past.

After the thumping from the Pelicans, LeBron James addressed the media. LeBron said there is something different about this season. James could be giving up on trying to pinpoint just what that difference is.

“It all starts with a win. You learn from that win, the things you did well and what you didn’t do well. It always starts with that and how you can implement it into a game and a game situation.

Obviously the last two losses have been… the Clippers game was right there [to win] and obviously we couldn’t finish the game. And tonight against the Pelicans, who have been playing some good ball of late… this season is definitely different.”

The 2021-2022 season is fading fast for the Los Angeles Lakers. LeBron James doesn’t seem to know the answers. Frustrated fans are starting to feel the playoffs slipping away.
