Fat Joe is best known for his song “Lean Back.” Joe has appeared on numerous occasions in relation to hip hop and fashion. The Bronx rapper’s latest outfit has everyone clowning him.

According to HiphopDx, Joe stepped out in a pink hoodie with a tan-colored military jacket, a pair of blue jeans, and boots, with the pants legs tucked into the boot, ahead of an impending snowstorm in New York on Friday, January 28. Joe’s defense was warm, even if it wasn’t his freshest moment.

“Waiting on the snow,” he captioned the post on Instagram. Almost immediately, friends and collaborators like N.O.R.E. and DJ Khaled chimed in with their thoughts in Joe’s comments.

“U went to far lol,” N.O.R.E wrote with four flame emojis attached. Khaled echoed the Drink Champs host’s sentiments, “Wow u really live a life naw but for real !” While DJ Clue asked why Joe wasn’t wearing Timbs but instead rocked the boots, and Jazze Pha joked about yesterday’s boots not being today’s boots, others like Remy Ma and Tony Sunshine praised Joe.

“Why are you doing em like that?” Sunshine exclaimed while Remy declared the fit to be nothing more than fire.

The Instagram clowning was in stark contrast to how Joe was received when he, Khaled, and Jadakiss were given a pair of Louis Vuitton Air Force 1s as part of Nike’s collaboration with the famed fashion house and the late Virgil Abloh.

Joe understood why people were making fun of his winter outfit and shared a few of the memes on Instagram, including him posing with a lightsaber, Affion Crockett, a Wookie, Mad Max, and others. “Nah, y’all gotta relax,” he said, laughing.

Fat Joe was both praised and mocked. Do you think his outfit was funny? To get the latest updates, keep an eye on Thirsty.
