Jon Jones was previously arrested on domestic violence charges as the whole MMA world reacted to his shocking arrest, which came as shocking news to many, except UFC President Dana White. Plenty of people talked about his arrest back when it happened.

Jon Jones had also revealed that his brain can’t handle alcohol anymore and vowed to never drink again. Dana White also added that Jon Jones was 10 years late in quitting alcohol.

As a result of his past actions, Jon Jones was banned from using the Jackson Wink MMA gym by coach Mike Winkeljohn. Jon Jones then blamed his recent misdeeds on his past trauma.

Recently, MMA legend Chael Sonnen was detained by local police for an alleged altercation in a hotel in Las Vegas. He was also slapped with 5 citations on assault.

Jon Jones took to Twitter and commented on Chael Sonnen’s recent controversy, making sure he ripped Sonnen. This is because Sonnen himself blasted Jones when he was arrested.

”Chael Sonnen, I’m not gonna sit here and celebrate you getting battery charges against a female last night. That would make me like you, and I’m nothing like you. Instead I will wish your family well, I wish the victims family well.

It’s funny how the people who criticize and judge you the most have some of the nastiest things in their closet. Let he who is without sin cast the first stone. You’ll get no stones from me. Good luck.”

From the looks of it, Jon Jones decided to take the high road as both of them have a lot of hate for each other over the past few years. Regardless, Jones previously stated that he wants to be a champion in 2022. We will have to wait and see who his first opponent will be next year.
