UFC commentator Joe Rogan has faced a lot of trials and tribulations throughout his career. He also has one of the most popular podcasts on Spotify. Rogan recently blasted those who believed Conor McGregor’s career in UFC was finished. His controversial take on the pandemic is also newsworthy at times.

Joe Rogan revealed that he tested positive for COVID-19 and used a controversial farm animal drug to treat it. Ivermectin is a livestock dewormer drug that the CDC and the FDA have specifically warned against as a remedy to battle COVID-19.

While speaking to TMZ Sports, UFC President Dana White revealed that he tested negative for Covid-19 just five days after testing positive for the disease. White then proceeded to thank Joe Rogan for remedies as well.

“Today is day five, [since] testing positive for Covid and this morning at nine o’clock I tested negative. Thank you Dr. Joe Rogan. He did it himself and 40 other people that he’s close to, he’s done this with… In all seriousness, Joe Rogan is a brilliant guy and he talks to the most brilliant people out there, he studies, he does his homework on all this stuff and it’s a fact this works. Not just me, so me and my wife are both 53 years old, we both did it. My daughter is 15, she did it, my mother-in-law’s 80 years old, she did it. When I was just sitting here waiting to talk to you, my mother-in-law went strolling by here, she’s on her way to get a massage. Everybody feels like a million bucks man.”

Joe Rogan previously threatened to sue CNN for calling Ivermectin “horse dewormer.” Rogan had also claimed that he got better after taking Ivermectin. However, perhaps it is better to take his opinion with a grain of salt and not treat COVID-19 in the same way he did. After all, no verified medical experts have condoned such a practice, especially getting COVID-19 on purpose to protect your immunity from it.
