UFC commentator Joe Rogan has faced a lot of trials and tribulations throughout his career. He also has one of the most popular podcasts on Spotify. He also blasted those who believed Conor McGregor’s career in UFC was finished.

Joe Rogan revealed that he tested positive for COVID-19 and used a controversial drug to treat it. Ivermectin is a livestock dewormer drug that the CDC and the FDA have specifically warned against as a remedy to battle COVID-19.

While speaking on his podcast The Joe Rogan Experience for the first time since contracting COVID-19, Rogan responded to the backlash he received for saying he would be using Ivermectin.

Joe Rogan also went after CNN’s coverage of his diagnosis in which people on the network criticized him for promoting unproven treatments. Rogan threatened to sue CNN for lying and calling Ivermectin a horse dewormer.

”Do I have to sue CNN? They’re making shit up! They keep saying I’m taking horse dewormer. I literally got it from a doctor. It’s an American company. They won the Nobel Prize in 2015 for use in human beings and CNN is saying I’m taking horse dewormer. They must know that’s a lie.

Multiple doctors told me to take it. What [the media] didn’t highlight is that I got better! They’re trying to make it seem as if I’m doing some wacky shit that’s completely ineffective.”

Joe Rogan claimed that he got better after taking Ivermectin, but perhaps it is better to take his opinion with a grain of salt and not treat COVID-19 in the same way he did.
