The Astroworld tragedy did not stop Lil Uzi from stopping his performance he was told several people in the audience had fainted due to crowd surge.

The 26-year-old performed at the Day N Vegas festival that took place on Nov. 12 – 14. Uzi was part of an all-star lineup that also included Kendrick Lamar, SZA, Post Malone, and Doja Cat to name a few.

During Uzi’s performance, several people in the crowd fainted. This led other audience members to plead to the rapper to stop his performance. However, Uzi told his fans he “doesn’t take breaks.” He even asked the people who were struggling in the crowd to leave.

“I don’t take no breaks. If it’s gettin’ bad, leave. If you ain’t gonna leave, stay.” he said. Videos of the concert that found their way to social media showed fans screaming at the rapper, telling him, “Stop the show, Uzi! You’re f*cked up, Uzi! There’s people f*cking fainting, bro!”

The Astroworld incident has created new concerns for performers and event organizers alike. The show’s headliner, Travis Scott, is facing multiple lawsuits in the aftermath of the deadly concert that left 10 dead and hundreds injured.
