The Fast & Furious franchise is certainly one of the most popular action franchises to have ever been released in movie theatres. Many fans would agree that it is essentially Vin Diesel’s series at this point. It seems Diesel wants The Rock back in the franchise.

Vin Diesel’s character Dom Toretto has been a highlight since the very first movie and in the Fast & Furious 9 film, fans got to know more about Toretto. The film was finally released earlier this year and was a huge success at the Box Office.

The Rock also debuted in the series in Fast Five in 2011 and since then has appeared in a couple of films. The Rock made it clear he won’t be appearing in the final two instalments of the franchise.

Vin Diesel took to his Instagram and made an emotional request to The Rock, as he requested The Rock to return for the upcoming Fast & Furious 10 movie.

My little brother Dwayne… the time has come. The world awaits the finale of Fast 10. As you know, my children refer to you as Uncle Dwayne in my house. There is not a holiday that goes by that they and you don’t send well wishes… but the time has come. Legacy awaits. I told you years ago that I was going to fulfill my promise to Pablo. I swore that we would reach and manifest the best Fast in the finale that is 10! I say this out of love… but you must show up, do not leave the franchise idle you have a very important role to play. Hobbs can’t be played by no other. I hope that you rise to the occasion and fulfill your destiny.

The years-long public spat between The Rock and Vin Diesel is well documented at this point in time. Even The Rock gets a kick out of fan reaction from his feud with Diesel. Regardless, we will have to wait and see if The Rock does return to the franchise or not.
