The debate has waged on about who is better between Drake and Michael Jackson. Even MJ’s son Prince weighed in on the matter. Rapper Boosie Badazz is well-known for his various bizarre antics on social media that certainly give him a lot of attention. However, not all of his antics are harmless internet fun. He has made very problematic comments in the past, which include him making transphobic comments about Dwayne Wade’s daughter Zaya in 2020.

Michael Jackson has been dubbed as the King of Pop and there are very good reasons for that. Jackson’s contributions to the music world cannot be understated and even after his passing, his music continues to break records.

Last month, Billboard asked fans who was bigger in their prime and asked fans to choose between Drake and Michael Jackson. Drake fans made reference to the fact that ‘Certified Lover Boy’ broke Michael Jackson’s Billboard Hot 100 record for the most top 10 hits from one album. Certified Lover Boy claimed nine of the chart’s top 10 spots, eclipsing MJ’s previous record of seven from 1982’s Thriller.

On the other hand, Michael Jackson fans referred to the fact that Jackson still has the best-selling album of all time as ‘Thriller’ has sold over 100 million copies worldwide. While speaking to Vlad TV, Boosie Badazz gave his take on the ongoing discussion.

According to Boosie Badazz, Michael Jackson was on a level of his own and on an entirely different league than Drake. While Drake certainly is one of the best rappers of this generation, he still isn’t on Michael Jackson’s level.

“It’s a difference because what if Michael Jackson had social media? What if Michael Jackson had streaming? The motherfuckers would be streamed in Pluto! You can’t compare these two; they not making the same music. This is Quincy Jones. Ain’t no raps on that shit.

Nobody compares to Drake as far as hits, but Michael Jackson had presence. That’s the difference. Drake come out there and he play his music and everybody just go crazy. Michael Jackson come out there and breathe.

I ain’t see Michael Jackson, but I saw CB. And I saw the same thing I saw on the shit I be watching if I watch Michael Jackson: girls passing out. I seen ’em with my own motherfucking eyes.

Michael Jackson’s son Prince Jackson also previously stated that his father is better than Drake. There is no doubt that Michael Jackson truly was a one of a kind artist and no one could ever emulate his success.
