Alex Rodriguez Jokes About His Love Life Months After Jennifer Lopez Split

Alex Rodriguez broke up with his fiancé, Jennifer Lopez, about six months ago. A-Rod has now made a hilarious comment explaining his love life. It didn’t take her long to hook back up with Ben Affleck, but A-Rod is still living single.

A brief clip about Tampa Bay Rays players eating popcorn was aired recently on FOX Sports. This clip featured an appearance from A-Rod’s ex, Cameron Diaz, who was feeding him popcorn.

Sportscaster, Kevin Burkhardt commented that “it’s not the first time people had been eating popcorn in the middle of the game.” This prompted Rodriguez’s amusing response:

KB, that’s maybe why I’m single.

This comment comes hot on the heels of A-Rod’s split with Lopez, whom he was with for four years. The couple had been engaged for two years, before calling it quits in April.

The couple had initially split and March and briefly reconciled, before deciding to separate for good. Reports surrounding the split state that it was caused by Rodriguez beginning a relationship with Madison LeCroy.
