Alex Rodriguez and Jennifer Lopez were seemingly a great couple, and as their relationship ended after their wedding was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. It was previously unknown whether Rodriguez was hurting over it or had chosen to move forward. J.Lo unfriended him on social media and wiped her Instagram of his presence, so that might have hurt.

In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, A-Rod revealed that instead of getting down and feeling a sense of loss over his time with J-Lo, he felt grateful for their time together. He also acknowledged that he had learned from the experience.

Whatever happened to me over the last year, I’m so grateful for it. I’ve had five years of an incredible life and partnership, and also with my daughters, we learned so much. And now we have the opportunity to take that and move forward and say, ‘You know what? We’re so grateful for the last five years, how do we make the next five years better because of lessons learned?’ So I’m in a great place. I’m so grateful for where God and the light has really put me, and I’m really looking forward. Mostly to see how my girls keep developing.

J-Lo got back together with Ben Affleck once again, and their relationship has progressed so much so that they’ve taken to house hunting together and even looking at a $85 million property. A-Rod has taken to other means to distract himself.
