Jon Gruden has come under the scrutiny of the NFL after his 2011 email was leaked. The email featured language from Gruden which was racist in nature, and now he has come forward to apologize for it.

Gruden is not alone apologizing on the matter. The Raiders also apologized on the matter, stating that the emails from Coach Gruden were “disturbing and not what the Raiders stand for.”

The Raiders Coach also apologized on the matter. He was apologetic for his behavior and said that the comment he had made about Damurice Smith were “horrible.”

The Wall Street Journal confirmed that the Washington Football Team exec Bruce Allen received the email from Jon Gruden. The email was sent at the time of the NFLPA and the NFL owners engaging in conflict over the bargaining agreement for the entire league. An NFL investigation has also been launched against him.
