Kanye West’s Donda finally dropped and fans from all over are taking in the latest Ye record. West might not be too happy about that.

Donda received a focus when DaBaby’s performance on Jail 2 was nixed from the final result. Blame was placed on DaBaby’s manager, but he called cap on that claim. Now Kanye is chiming in and placing blame on Universal.

Ye logged onto Instagram and he dropped a text graphic that had a lot to say. He pointed blame at Universal for releasing Donda without his consent, and he claims that they also “blocked” Jail 2 from the record as well.

Universal put my album out without my approval and they blocked Jail 2 from being on the album.

That should clear up a lot of things about the album’s release, but fans shouldn’t be too shocked that the controversy continues around this album even after he is released. The Donda making process was described as “toxic” and many have wondered how long Ye planned to postpone his new album. Universal might have grown tired of waiting which is why it dropped before Sunday morning service.
