Kendrick Lamar is one of hip hop’s most celebrated rappers. His fans have waited way too long to hear his new album out, and now they’re soon to get the chance. After To Pimp A Butterfly, Lamar is soon to release his last album at Top Dawg Entertainment.

The rapper recently dropped a single called “Family Ties.” While fans are going crazy about the new single, they haven’t quite yet dissected the heavy hip-hop fueled references the TPAB rapper has dropped.

Lamar went off by proclaiming himself by rapping the verse “omega, pgLang, Rollie gang, SIE.” She then goes on to make a reference to Megan Thee Stallion. As the rapper is making her music career have a blast while going through school, he calls her a multi-tasker. Then the rapper again flexes himself as the king of the rap game, but drops a reference to the Kanye’s greatness.

New flows comin’, be patient, brother/Show my ass and take y’all to class/I can multitask like Megan, brother.

Smokin’ on top fives/Motherf*ck that album, f*ck that single/ Burn that hard drive (Burn that shit)/Ain’t nobody safe/When I come up killin’ everybody that’s outside (Who you with?)/Yeah, Kanye changed his life/But me, I’m still an old school Gemini (Lil’ bitch)/Let me jump in this bitch.
