Kanye West’s Donda album is coming soon, but Jay-Z’s part was replaced for some reason. Nobody has an answer as to why DaBaby is now rapping instead of Jigga, but that is the case.

West’s latest Donda event saw him literally set himself on fire, and not to be outdone he still sparked a ton of controversy. Both DaBaby and Marilyn Manson were there and fans were not pleased with their invites.

The Thursday night listening party did not feature Jay-Z on the track called “Jail” as he was before. Instead, DaBaby was on the track.

Fans were not happy about replacing DaBaby with Jay-Z, and this stemmed from his comments at Rolling Loud in July. The controversial rapper relayed homophobic messages while on microphone and he lost many gigs after that. Apparently, he’s still cool with Ye.

You can check out DaBaby’s verse in the video below. It’s hard to hate on it too much, because DaBaby’s bars are fire, but replacing Jay-Z was an interesting move.

Let’s get to know each other. Me? Well, I have a master’s degree in Journalism from Marshall University, but I don’t really like to talk about that. I was a stand-up comedian for eight years, but I don’t really like to talk about that either. I write a lot. I once worked for a company that writes blurbs for online gambling games. Those paid $.75 each. So, if you frequent that kind of thing, then you’re welcome for the description for Biker Chicken Slots or Crazy Granny’s Scratchers. I wish I had more to tell, but due to my crippling anxiety and Tourette’s Syndrome, that has become increasingly worse over the years, I tend to keep to myself.
