Kanye West is certainly one of the best rappers of all time according to many fans but he isn’t without his fair share of controversies as well. West was recently in hot water for refusing to require COVID-19 vaccines for his ‘Donda’ listening party in Chicago.
During his third listening party for his upcoming ‘Donda’ album, Kanye West became a subject of controversy yet again as he invited Marilyn Manson and DaBaby during the event.
Both Marilyn Manson and DaBaby are currently in the middle of public controversy. Marilyn has been accused of abuse by multiple women and he even turned himself in back in July due to the charges meted against him.
On the other hand, DaBaby became public enemy #1 after making a controversial and homophobic statement during his Rolling Loud performance in Miami. When both of them were onstage, Kanye played a song that featured the lyric, “Tell me if you need someone that needs Jesus love,” and fans pointed out the insane irony.
“Kanye West putting DaBaby on his album after he was getting cancelled is the most Kanye West thing possible”
“KANYE FANS: don’t worry, he’s delaying Donda to perfect it and make it EVEN better KANYE: (*takes Jay-Z and Cudi off the album and adds DaBaby & Marilyn Manson*)”
“Did Kanye just replace Jay Z’s verse with DABABY #DONDA”
“Putting da baby and Marilyn Manson last minute is just blatant antagonizing, like you can’t even pretend it’s anything else. That’s very corny”
“Kanye West, Dababy and Marilyn Manson on a porch listening to a Carti and Fivio song, what kinda fucked up timeline is this”
Kanye West will continue to do whatever he wants to do no matter what anyone says, even if it might not be the best decision. He is unlikely to change that aspect about himself anytime soon.
