Groom Ties The Knot With Bride’s Sister After Bride Passes Away During Ceremony

Marriage can be one of the greatest things that can happen to someone as it usually means two people who are deeply in love choose to spend their life together. However, it seems sometimes the act of marriage is more important than the people involved.

According to The Times Of India, Mangesh Kumar and Surabhi were expected to tie the knot. During the wedding ceremony rituals, the bride suddenly collapsed after informing the groom and their guests that she was feeling very ill.

Shortly after that, the bride collapsed in the middle of the ceremony as well. A doctor was called in to check on Surabhi. Unfortunately, the doctor confirmed that the bride had passed away due to a sudden heart attack. In a shocking suggestion, the groom asked the late bride’s parents if he could marry her sister, Nisha.

The deceased bride’s parents readily agreed and the ceremony proceeded while Surabhi’s dead body was stored in the next room. While speaking to The Times Of India, Surabhi’s brother Saurabh recalled the utterly bizarre situation.

”It was a bizarre situation as the wedding of my younger sister took place while the dead body of my other sister was lying in another room.”

Currently, it is not known just what was the cause for Surabhi’s unfortunate demise and we simply cannot understand why the ceremony wasn’t stopped in the first place.
