Canadian and American rappers Drake and Rick Ross recently collaborated on the song “Lemon Pepper Freestyle” that came out last night. In more good news, the duo is currently working on a collaborative album.

This is huge for fans as after years of restricting their collabs due to industry politics, Drake and Rick Ross are releasing some crazy collaborations over the course of the last few years.

While the frequent collaborators may have faced a roadblock during Drake’s feud with Meek Mill, they are certainly making up for lost time on the 6-minute “Lemon Pepper Freestyle”, which many say features one of Drake’s best-ever verses.

When fans were asked by RapCaviar, Spotify’s largest hip-hop playlist, for the best collaboration that they’ve ever released, former footballer Chad Ochocinco came through with a pretty revealing reply, apparently confirming that Drake and Ross are gearing up to release a full album together.

Ochocinco posted the reply on Twitter:

“The joint album they’re doing together with unseat all projects they’ve done to date.”

This added to the speculation that the duo could be releasing a tape before Drake’s Certified Lover Boy album.

Would you be fine with Certified Lover Boy postponed if Drake and Ross released a full album? We would love to hear your thoughts in the comments below.
