Derek Chauvin, the former Minneapolis police officer sentenced to 22-and-a-half years for the murder of George Floyd, was recently stabbed in prison. This happened at the Federal Correctional Institute in Tucson, Arizona – which definitely shocked people. That said, Chauvin is now back in prison following the incident.

As previously reported, Derek Chauvin’s family expressed their dissatisfaction with the way they learned about the incident, discovering it through social media rather than receiving direct communication from the prison. The family later received an update stating that Chauvin was in serious condition but had survived the attack.

According to VladTV, as Chauvin returns to an Arizona prison facility, it’s expected that security measures will be heightened to ensure his safety. Incidents involving high-profile inmates often lead to increased security protocols to prevent similar situations from happening again in the future.

The report added that there may be concerns about the potential for further incidents involving Chauvin, given the nature of the previous attack. It remains to be seen whether Derek Chauvin will end up getting stabbed again in the future.
