Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is known far and wide for being one of the biggest and most influential stars in the pro wrestling business and outside of that as well. After all, his brand is ever-encompassing and continues to grow even now. There have been rumors that he wants to run for President in the future and amid such rumors, The Great One had a meeting with US Senators.

During an interview on Trevor Noah’s What Now podcast, the former WWE Champion disclosed that several political parties have approached him about a potential run for the office of President of the United States. It was also reported that a whopping 46% of voters would eagerly cast their ballots for Dwayne Johnson to become POTUS.

According to TMZ, The Rock recently paid a visit to Capitol Hill, where he engaged in meetings with U.S. senators to discuss topics ranging from football to military recruitment.

During his visit to Washington D.C. on a Wednesday, The Rock held discussions with prominent lawmakers, including Senators Susan Collins, Dick Durbin, Lindsey Graham, Mark Kelly, Jon Tester, Tammy Duckworth, and Todd Young. Alongside him was his XFL CEO, Dany Garcia. The meeting was planned by Senator Tester, who emphasized that Johnson would be advocating for increased recruitment in the Armed Forces.

Senator Collins, visibly enthusiastic about the meeting, expressed her admiration for The Rock’s massive following and revealed her desire to grab a few photos with The Great One. The meeting also included a handshake with U.S. Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, and The Rock took the opportunity to pose for a photo with Capitol Police officers for good measure.

Some senators believe The Rock has the influence to convince more young people to enlist for the US Army, Air Force and Navy, which is why the meeting took place. That said, The Rock still maintains an interest in running for President, so we’ll have to see if that will end up happening in the future.
