Nipsey Hussle tragically lost his life back in March of 2019 after he was fatally shot outside his store Marathon Clothing in South Los Angeles. His alleged killer, Eric R. Holder was arrested and charged with murder in April of that year. While his killer was sentenced to several decades in prison, it did nothing to help the late rapper’s grieving baby mother. Now it seems she talked about Hussle’s tragic death once again.

As previously reported, Eric Holder Jr. was sentenced to 60 years to life in prison for the 2019 murder of Nipsey Hussle. Nearly a year after his conviction for first-degree murder and attempted voluntary manslaughter, Eric Holder was sentenced for his crimes.

The mother of Nipsey Hussle’s firstborn child, Tanisha Foster, has faced scrutiny since the rapper’s death in 2019. Foster faced significant pushback from Hussle’s family as she tried to gain custody of their daughter Emani Asghedom. However, reports of the custody battle also led to public scrutiny surrounding her parenting. Still, she remained relatively lowkey since Nipsey’s passing.

In a sequence of heartbreaking messages shared on her Instagram Story this week, she finally opened up about her feelings. She expressed missing the father of her child and how she wished he was present to witness her accomplishments.

Despite Nip’s relationship with Lauren London until his death, Foster highlighted their strong bond as parents and friends, rooted in their shared history. However, since Nipsey’s passing, she has been subjected to harsh criticism from his fans whenever she attempted to post about him on Instagram.

“I miss my child’s father. I wish he was here to see my accomplishments.”

In a detailed message on her Instagram Story, Foster addressed her connection with Nip and the criticism she’s received for posting about him. She acknowledged that Nipsey was beloved by his fans and that some of them have taken issue with her tributes to him, assuming it’s a slight towards Lauren London.

Foster expressed her own perspective and asked her critics to consider her feelings, saying, “It’s been almost 4 years since he’s been gone, so think about how I feel.” She went on to share that she met Nip when she was a teenager, and he had been her closest companion ever since.

“You guys are fans of my child’s father and when I post him it’s a problem. It’s almost 4 years of him being gone so think [about] how I feel. I met him in my teens and he been my roll dog every since.”

Later in the note, Foster revealed that she had spoken to Nipsey just 30 minutes before his death. She expressed her regret at not being there for him, saying, “I wish I was there, I would have taken those bullets.” It’s clear that Nipsey’s passing has had a profound impact on Foster, and she continues to grapple with the pain and loss she feels.
