Nipsey Hussle tragically lost his life back in March of 2019 after he was fatally shot outside his store Marathon Clothing in South Los Angeles. His alleged killer, Eric R. Holder was arrested and charged with murder in April of that year. Now it seems his alleged killer has now been sentenced to decades in prison.

Holder is facing life in prison for his crime. Jurors previously decided Holder “personally and intentionally” shot a firearm, inflicting grievous bodily harm on one of the victims. Deputy District Attorney John McKinney described the murder as “cold-blooded” and “calculated,” noting that Holder had “quite a bit of time for premeditation and deliberation” before returning to the parking lot at Slauson Avenue and Crenshaw Boulevard, where Nip was shot at least ten times.

According to the Associated Press, Eric Holder Jr. was sentenced to 60 years to life in prison on Wednesday for the 2019 murder of Nipsey Hussle. Nearly a year after his conviction for first-degree murder and attempted voluntary manslaughter, Eric Holder was sentenced for his crimes.

In addition to those charges, he was found guilty on two counts of assault with a firearm and two counts of attempted voluntary manslaughter, which were related to his firing of shots that injured two individuals who were not his intended targets.
