Francis Ngannou was regarded as one of the best heavyweights in the UFC for a very long time. In March 2021, Ngannou finally defeated Stipe Miocic to become the UFC Heavyweight Champion cementing his legacy as a UFC GOAT. He is no longer with the promotion and it seems Jake Paul really wants Ngannou to be in PFL.

As previously reported, Francis Ngannou officially parted ways with the UFC. Right after that, Dana White claimed that Ngannou turned down a contract that would have made history in the UFC.

Jake Paul also signed a multi-year deal with PFL last month. While speaking on The MMA Hour, Jake Paul made it clear that he really hopes Francis Ngannou joins the PFL.

“Hopefully. I think that’s the best thing for him, honestly. I don’t think there’s a better place for him than the PFL. Working with those guys, working with my team, there’s massive things that we could do. We’ve been in talks and he knows what we have to offer and we’ll respect him and appreciate him no matter what, but we’re here and ready to work.

Francis Ngannou’s UFC exit was also not due to money issues. He also revealed his plans following his UFC departure. We’ll have to see how Ngannou will fare in other promotions in the coming months.
