Francis Ngannou was the UFC Heavyweight Champion for a long time and was hailed as one of the all-time greats of the sport. In the main event of UFC 270, Francis Ngannou successfully defended his UFC Heavyweight Championship against Ciryl Gane, in an all-time classic. Unfortunately, Ngannou continued to have issues with his UFC pay and now it seems he is done with the UFC for good.

Francis Ngannou eventually revealed that he didn’t like a free man whatsoever in the UFC. Ngannou even claimed that he gave up $7 million to get a better contract in the UFC.

Ngannou previously made it clear he wants to get into boxing to get better pay. Francis Ngannou also doesn’t know what he’s doing wrong to not get a huge payday like Logan Paul.

For a long time, Ngannou’s status remained in question. In fact, even Mike Tyson believed Ngannou can make a great payday in boxing. That being said, it seems his time in the UFC is over.

Ariel Helwani took to Twitter and reported that Francis Ngannou is longer part of the UFC. He added that the UFC Heavyweight Championship is now vacant and that Dana White claimed to have offered a historic deal to Ngannou, but Ngannou turned it down.

Francis Ngannou is officially clear to sign a deal with someone else. White says they are going to wave any right to match and let him go elsewhere. He is no longer the UFC heavyweight champion. White says they offered him a deal that would have made him the highest paid HW ever.

The CEO of Bellator also previously made it clear he wants to sign Francis Ngannou. We will have to wait and see if Francis Ngannou will now make his way to Bellator, as he is finally a free agent.
