Michael Irvin is accused of misconduct by a woman. This accusation has brought upon a slurry of misfortune for the commentator. In order to save his face and fight the allegation, he has now filed a $100 million lawsuit against the accuser.

In response to the defamation that a woman has caused Michael Irvin, he has gone all out in search of justice. This comes as he claims to be “railroaded” with false accusations that are ruining his career. Irvin is doing it all so as not to turn himself into the next victim of “cancel culture” over something he says never happened.

According to the lawsuit, witnesses confirmed Irvin’s initial claim that he “casually exchanged pleasantries” with the employee. After shaking her hand, the pundit went inside his room by himself. The hotel manager is accused of reporting the alleged incident to the NFL “with the goal of ruining that relationship and canceling [Irvin],” according to the lawsuit.

“Rash and thoughtless actions can have severe consequences. Marriott [parent company of Renaissance Hotels] apparently did not appreciate these simple truths when, in a rush to judgment, its employees and management inaccurately and inflammatorily accused Mr. Irvin of misconduct to the National Football League.”

After learning about the charges, Irvin and his team contacted the Renaissance Hotel. Initially, they wanted the hotel management to give witness accounts in an effort to clear up any misunderstandings. However, they claim the hotel declined to do so.

This accusation has led to Michael losing his job at ESPN. According to news reports, will no longer be a part of the network’s Super Bowl LVII programming. The big game comes on Sunday, and Irvin will not be making any predictions.

This whole situation is bizarre, and many are still looking for answers. It will be interesting to watch what impact this incident has on Irvin’s career as cancel culture’s victims have had it pretty rough in the world.
