Logan Paul gained fame both as a YouTuber and professional boxer. He has continued to gain popularity since WrestleMania 38, having several notable matches in 2022. His match against Roman Reigns at Crown Jewel solidified his status as a breakout star of last year. After the match, speculations started to spread that he may face John Cena at the upcoming WrestleMania. Now it seems that possibility has been discussed.

During his match with Roman Reigns, Logan Paul sustained an injury, specifically when he executed a high-risk move to the outside and landed directly on his knee. He is currently undergoing recovery after tearing his MCL.

As previously reported, Logan Paul will likely be medically cleared before WrestleMania 39. In fact, reports have also suggested that Logan Paul vs John Cena is the current plan for WrestleMania 39.

While speaking on Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer noted that there have been talks of Logan Paul and The Leader of Cenation facing each other at the Show of Shows already.

Logan Paul had asked to be against Cena at WrestleMania, but they never said that. There was definitely talk of Cena vs Logan Paul in November/December in that range.

John Cena previously ignited rumors of a potential match against Logan Paul at WrestleMania 39. In addition to that, even Logan Paul has messaged Triple H about facing John Cena at WrestleMania. That being said, WWE’s actual plans will see Cena face Austin Theory at the Show of Shows instead, so a match with Logan Paul seems unlikely now.
