Logan Paul made a name for himself as a YouTuber as well as a professional boxer. His stock continued to rise since WrestleMania 38 this year, as he went on to have three solid matches in 2022. His bout against Roman Reigns at Crown Jewel cemented him as one of the breakout stars of this year. Following the match, rumors started spreading that Paul was going to face John Cena at the Show of Shows next year. Now it seems that is the current plan for The Maverick at WrestleMania 39 next year.

The Maverick injured himself during his match with The Tribal Chief, especially when he performed a high-risk move to the outside, landing directly on his knee. Paul is currently recovering after tearing his MCL.

As previously reported, Logan Paul will likely be medically cleared before WrestleMania 39. According to WrestlingNews.co, John Cena vs Logan Paul is currently planned for The Show Of Shows next year.

John Cena previously ignited rumors of a potential match against Logan Paul at WrestleMania 39. In fact, even Logan Paul has messaged Triple H about facing John Cena at WrestleMania. We will have to wait and see how WWE will end up booking Cena and Paul’s feud, once The Maverick makes his return to WWE television.
