Billionaire TV mogul, Byron Allen just made history, and it only cost him a cool $100 million. Allen spent the amount on an oceanfront mansion in Malibu, and has broken a record in doing so.

TMZ reports that this purchase marks the largest sum of money that an African American has ever spent on a property purchase in the United States, taking over Beyoncé and Jay-Z’s $88 million Bel-Air mansion.

The 11,000-square-foot estate comes decked with four bedrooms, two guest houses, a home theater, tennis court, gym, and yoga studio, along with a master suite that boasts its own fireplace, bathroom, custom walk-in closets and private terrace.

The house is situated in Malibu’s Paradise Cove enclave, and features a stunning view of the Pacific Ocean. There’s even a winding path leading down to the beach.

This new addition to Byron’s real estate portfolio has brought its value up to $500 million. Jade Mills of Coldwell Banker Realty had the listing, and Byron was repped by Terence Hill of BT Equities. Check out pictures of the house below.
