Jennifer Lawrence is one of the top-paid female actors in Hollywood. The actor has an Oscar slip moment to her credit, but that’s not all she has to her support at this time.

Lawrence is returning back to her indie roots as going all in with Hollywood has taken a toll on her. It’s not a game for all, and Lawrence has understood it the hard way.

According to TMZ, The A-Lister plays a U.S. soldier with PTSD and gets acclimated to regular life again in her latest flick ‘Causeway.’ She is currently in London for the flick.

I loved superhero movies. Franchise is art and they’re so fun; I could never do one now because I’m too old & brittle. I love them too. This generation understandably likes a world to escape to, and I can relate to that.

I think I lost a sense of control. Between “The Hunger Games” coming out and winning the Oscar, I became such a commodity that I felt like every decision was a big, big group decision. When I reflect now, I can’t think of those following years, [because there was] just a loss of control.

Causeway will have a smaller audience by any stretch of the imagination — it’s an A24 film, with a way smaller budget and limited release via Apple. We hope this explains what it means to be an A-Lister and have a limited release.

Jen is 32 years old and has seen her fair share of glory and other situations that come with it. She wants to stay connected to the roots and that’s an interesting thing to witness.
