The Rock expressed his interest in running for the Oval Office several years, which became a heavily debated topic among fans through the years. This was even the plot of The Rock’s Young Rock show, where the WWE Legend can be seen running for the President of the United States.

However, Dwayne Johnson recently put all those speculations to rest. During an interview with CBS Sunday Morning, The Rock said that running of The Oval Office is off the table.

The Great One further stated that his main focus is on spending time with his family and being involved in their lives.

“It’s off the table. Yes. It is off the table. I will say this because it requires a B-side to this. I love our country and everyone in it. I also love being a daddy. And that’s the most important thing to me is being a daddy, number one, especially during this time, this critical time in my daughters’ lives. I know what it was like to be on the road and be so busy that I was absent for a lot of years in my first daughter [Simone]’s [life]. Growing up in this critical age at this critical time in their life, and that’s what the presidency will do. So my number one priority is my daughters. Sure, CEO sounds great. But the number one thing I wanna be is daddy. That’s it.”

Although a run for Presidency is off the table, Dwayne Johnson hasn’t taken a step back in Hollywood. His next project Black Adam is set to his theatres in October 21.
