Young Rock is one of the most trendy shows on NBC. The sitcom is all about Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson’s childhood and has even featured a young Roman Reigns. Season three of the show is generating a lot of buzz, and now it’s finally in the making.

PW Insider reports that the season 3 of the show started off with production on Monday, 19 September. The shooting for the show is taking place in Memphis, Tennessee. This is a different shooting location from before, as previous seasons of the show were shot in Australia.

The third season of NBC’s Young Rock officially kicked off production yesterday, Monday 9/19 in Memphis, TN.  The previous seasons had been filmed in Australia.

The new season will feature The Rock circa the Attitude Era, including Wrestlemania 13.

Chavo Guerrero is the designated wrestling coordinator for the new season. The show featured a number of big WWE legends such as Roddy Piper, Mankind, The Undertaker, Fred Blassie, and Lou Albano as characters.

The characters have undergone recasting for the new season, as the location for the shoot is now in the United States instead of Australia. The third season of the show will focus on The Rock from his Attitude Era days, including his debut in WWE at WrestleMania 13.

Young Rock recently cast an actor in the role of Attitude Era star Brian Christopher. The Rock previously teased a match with Roman Reigns in the show. He later added that he didn’t know whether a Roman Reigns match will happen when he decided to tease for it.
